Marie Bathellier is an artist living and painting on the Isle of Yeu off the Atlantic coast of France. Surf, sand and driftwood are her daily source of inspiration and have been transformed into a rug design : Surf and Ocean.
Woven on jacquard looms with cotton chenille yarns, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching details to give a true ‘vintage’ look.
